Warsaw Climate Talks 2025
Ambasada Niemiec we współpracy z Centrum Ochrony Mokradeł organizuje trzecie wydarzenie w ramach cyklu Warsaw Climate Talks, poświęcone tym razem tematowi „Odtworzone mokradła - potencjał dla innowacyjnego rolnictwa i redukcji emisji”. W dyskusji wezmą udział ekspertki i eksperci ze świata nauki i polityki oraz praktycy z Polski i Niemiec. Debata toczyć się będzie zarówno wokół aktualnych praktycznych doświadczeń jak i politycznych warunków ramowych w obu krajach. W temat wprowadzą Franziska Tanneberger, dyrektorka Greifswald Moor Centrum, oraz Wiktor Kotowski, członek zarządu Centrum Ochrony Mokradeł.
Cykl Warsaw Climate Talks stanowi platformę otwartej wymiany poglądów między ekspertkami i ekspertami z obu krajów.

Panel ten skupi się na korzyściach i ograniczeniach związanych z odtwarzaniem mokradeł, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem prowadzonych na nich upraw. Przedstawiciele polskich rolników będą mogli skonfrontować swoje potrzeby i oczekiwania z osobami pracującymi przy dużych projektach realizowanych w Niemczech.
Anje Marten, kierowniczka projektu pilotażowego „BLuMo“ BLuMo - projekt finansowany ze środków budżetowych, którego celem jest prowadzenie działalności rolniczej uwzględniającej ochronę klimatu na terenach podmokłych w Brandenburgii w Niemczech.
Michael Hafner, członek zarządu odpowiedzialny za projekty badawcze w Związku Gmin „Donaumoos” Donaumoos to największe torfowisko w południowych Niemczech. Na skutek melioracji występują tam poważne problemy środowiskowe.
Jessica K. Meißner, kierowniczka Centrum Kompetencji ds. Paludikultury w Dolnej Saksonii, Centrum Kompetencji ds. Odnawialnych Źródeł 3N Centrum Kompetencji ds. Paludikultury to centralny punkt informacyjny dot. paludikultury w Dolnej Saksonii. Zajmuje się promowaniem i zwiększaniem świadomości nt. paludikultury jako przyjaznej środowisku i mokradłom alternatywy dla wcześniejszego wykorzystania mokradeł w rolnictwie i leśnictwie.
Jarosław Krogulec, Ogólnopolskie Towarzystwo Ochrony Ptaków (OTOP) OTOP gospodaruje na terenie pięciu rezerwatów przyrody w Polsce - nadmorskich łąk halofilnych oraz wilgotnych łąk w dolinie Biebrzy. Na tych obszarach, przy współpracy z miejscowymi rolnikami odtwarza stosunki wodne oraz ogranicza sukcesję na zmeliorowanych dawniej terenach. Ochronę ptaków realizujemy przez ochronę ich siedlisk, co przyczynia się do zachowania szeroko rozumianej różnorodności biologicznej.

Das erste Panel widmet sich den gesetzlichen Einschränkungen bei Wiedervernässungsmaßnahmen. Wir setzen uns mit notwendigen Änderungen konkreter Vorschriften sowie mit allgemeinen, langfristigen Paradigmen in der Landbewirtschaftung und bei landwirtschaftlichen Subventionen auseinander.

Panel 2: Wiedervernässung von Mooren: praktische Erfahrungen und technische Lösungen
Dieses Panel setzt sich mit den Nutzen und den Einschränkungen auseinander, die mit der Wiedervernässung von Mooren verbunden sind, mit besonderer Berücksichtigung des dortigen Anbaus. Die Vertreter der polnischen Landwirte werden ihre Bedürfnisse und Erwartungen mit Personen konfrontieren können, die bei in Deutschland umgesetzten Großprojekten arbeiten.
Anje Marten, Leiterin des Pilotprojekts „BLuMo“ BLuMo ‒ dieses aus Bundesmitteln geförderte Projekt hat die klimaschonende Bewirtschaftung der Moorböden in Brandenburg zum Ziel.
Michael Hafner, Geschäftsführung und Forschungsprojekte im Donaumoos-Zweckverband Donaumoos ist das größte Niedermoor in Süddeutschland. Infolge der Melioration gibt es dort ernsthafte Umweltprobleme.
Jessica K. Meißner, Leiterin der Kompetenzstelle Paludikultur Niedersachsen, 3N Kompetenzzentrum Niedersachsen Netzwerk Nachwachsende Rohstoffe und Bioökonomie e. V. Die Kompetenzstelle Paludikultur ist die zentrale Informationsstelle für Paludikultur in Niedersachsen. Das Projekt hat zum Ziel, die Paludikultur als eine moor- und klimaschonende Alternative zur bisherigen land- und forstwirtschaftlichen Nutzung von Moorböden bekannt zu machen und zu fördern.
Jarosław Krogulec, Gesamtpolnische Gesellschaft für Vogelschutz (OTOP) Die OTOP bewirtschaftet fünf Naturschutzgebiete in Polen – Salzwiesen an der Küste und Feuchtwiesen im Tal des Flusses Biebrza. In Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Landwirten stellt OTOP in diesen Gebieten den Wasserhaushalt wieder her und begrenzt die Sukzession auf ehemals meliorierten Flächen. Die Vögel werden durch den Schutz ihrer Lebensräume geschützt, was zur Erhaltung der biologischen Vielfalt im weitesten Sinne beiträgt.

The Centre aims to promote and raise awareness of paludiculture as a peatland- and climate-friendly alternative to the previous agricultural and forestry use of peatlands.
Jarosław Krogulec, The Polish Society for the Protection of Birds (OTOP) OTOP manages five nature reserves in Poland – coastal, Baltic halophilic meadows and wet meadows in the Biebrza Valley. In these areas, in cooperation with local farmers, it restores water regime and limits succession in formerly drained areas. We protect birds by protecting their habitats, which contributes to the preservation of biodiversity in the broadest sense.
